Is there any good reliable file converter for my iPod?

I have different video files in various formats. As many of these files are not getting played on iPod as this supports different format because of this I need to do convert the file formats. But how can I do make a conversion of files in various formats? Does any one have idea about this? If yes than do suggest me with any option for making conversion of iPod video files so I can view the videos.

Does anyone know how to fix “iPod cannot be synced” error?

Today while I was syncing my 32 GB iPod touch (it has OS 3.1.3) using iTunes 9, I got an error “the iPod ‘XYZ’ cannot be synced. The required file is locked”. An unknown error occurred. After which I tried switching the iPod and restarting it and iTunes once again. Still nothing happens, anyone with ideas on how to fix it.

How to make a backup of my iPod music ?

I have large number of songs saved in my iPod and all comes in my favorite list. Sometimes I get feared that my all saved files don’t get lost accidentally. I have made a huge collection and all are really good numbers. Now I want to make a backup of the all music files but don’t know about the process for it. Does anyone know the backing up process of iPod music in computer? Thanks in advance.

iPod appears empty after upgrade to 1.2.2 Firmware. Help me ?

Hi, I have 4th 16 GB Silver iPod nano. When I update my iPod with update version 1.2.2 and after disconnection I got iPod is empty. When I connected with iTunes, all the saved items are still visible and hard disk is full as previous. Can somebody help me to fix this issue? You any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks!

Help me in getting Converter for avi file format to my iPod. ?

I have some video files in the file format of avi. I want to transfer these files on my iPod. But I’m not getting the way for converting my files. First of all I need to change the file format in the iPod format. Does any one have used such type of conversion before? If yes than help me on the conversion of avi files.

My iPod Nano has got stuck at the boot logo. ?

Few days back my iPod Nano of 1st Generation got struck and now it doesn’t functions well. Than I erased my all data but this is still stuck to the boot logo. I even can’t put in a recovery mode because the Home button is only stuck and so the whole function has got stopped. My Computer, my iTunes too didn’t recognize my iPod. Well I’m still entitled in an Apple Warranty Services. What should I do to have my erased files and data back? How this button problem can get solved?

Accidentally I have got my some files of iPod deleted. I was making a deletion of some other old audio files, but due to wrong selection my favorite songs got delete. Tell me any measure with which I can recover my data of iPod?

How to backup iPod songs?

Each and every songs contained in my iPod is precious & favorite to me, I had to pay per song for downloading them from iTunes. As I carry my iPod where ever I go, chances of loosing it due to iPod damage, corruption or crash may occur at any time and I cant just prevent them, but at least I can backup iPod, how it can be done?

My iPod requires servicing being in use for long time and before sending it to service center I want to transfer iPod songs and audios to PC in order to secure it, how to do so quickly since large number of songs are there in my iPod.
