Nothing was working, no key or clicks. After waiting for some time, I switched it off from power button. Almost after an hour, I restarted it and it showed screen with blinking folder and question mark. I did it again and again but, all ended with same screen, during this I also observed some clicking sound. But I am not sure if it’s dead or what kind of failure is this? It’s now in the repair shop just willing to know will they be able to recover drive data or what can I do to get data back.
Asked By : jennifer ( Total points : 68 )

Wiping g4 hard drive before recycling?

I am deciding of recycling my g4 based Mac system, but as it like keeping your safe open for others to steal data I get quite confused at times and not being able to take the right decision. Can the photos be uploaded to some other system or I need another card reader, I need them back?
