Which software provides the editing features after conversion of MPEG-2 format files to the format playable in portable formats? Are they applicable for both Windows and Mac systems?

I know many converters that can convert the MPEG-2 formats like TRP and VOB files into other formats. But no one have the editing features using which I can manipulate the videos. And also are they compatible with Windows and Mac systems?

soniyabedi 		TRP format uses MPEG-2 codec to store the audios and videos. Due to its compression technique it is used world wide. Many peoples want to convert the TRP videos to other formats so that they can get the good quality picture and sound. But only TRP Converter provides them editing facilities. Using this converter users can crop, clip and trim the videos and movie clips and add effects to it. So if they want only part of a video they can easily crop it up.
