Unable to edit MOD video with Roxio Creator 2009. Help me ?

My parents bought a JVC GZ-MG630 camcorder for me. It records the video as “*.mod” and “*.moi” file formats. And, save the files on its internal hard drive. After shooting a short video clip, I want to edit with Roxio Creator 2009. But unfortunately I didn’t do so after multiple times. So, I came here for some suggestion. Can somebody hear and give proper suggestion about this issue? Your any idea would be appreciated.
