The password you have typed is incorrect. Retype the password ?

Last night I had started Microsoft Outlook and tried to open the password protected PST file. A dialog box appeared and then I had entered my password. But outlook didn’t accept my password and didn’t permit me to access the contents. I also get an error message: “The password you have typed is incorrect. Retype the password”. Please help me?

emilydcosta 		This error may occur if you have entered wrong PST password or your PST password is corrupted or damaged. It may happen because of power failure, virus attack, etc. You can not reset the lost PST password. But you can recover it with PST password recovery tool.

You can use pst19upg.exe tool which Microsoft offers to upgrade the PST files. It can upgrade the PST file but it can’t retain the password. If you want to recover PST password then in that case you can make use of the third party application. It recovers the password with very fast speed and provides graphical interface. It makes use of the advanced scan algorithms to recover the lost PST password.
