QuickTime plugin problem?

I have just bought a MacBook OS X 10.5.2, 2 GB Intel Core Duo, 2.4 GHz, etc. After the use of QuickTime converter for Mac software for some strange reasons I am unable to play downloaded movies or videos from internet on my system since every time came across error message "Quick time player needs additional plug ins to be able to work". I don’t know why it is giving me and what exactly I am missing. Is it only because of the software I have used? Could you please help?

queenie 		I don’t think that it is because of the software QuickTime converter for Mac you have used. Instead of getting any new program just try using a media converter program iSquint. There are also media conversion programs which will also work but but this happens to be a free one.

You can also install both Flip4Mac like YouthPastor suggested and also Perian. You should be able to play most anything. So, just try it hope this helps.
