Help needed with .pef recovery?

I am using pentax K-X digital camera and I think my cameras memory card has got corrupted and it is also encountering me error message “saying pictures cannot be opened” or “error 00x3268”. Friends are suggesting me to do formatting of memory a card but as I am not in a mood to lose all important pics. Is there any other way to recover all those .pef files without paying for much dollars?

William 		To get rid of the error message “saying pictures cannot be opened” or “error 00x3268” which you are encountering you can opt for the formatting but as you are saying that you do not want to lose all your important pics then the last option for you is to go for the third party software program memory card recovery that will easily recover your lost, corrupted, missing or damaged photos from memory card.
