File access is denied ?

I need to reformat my complete hard drive. Before reformatting, I backup my outlook PST on the DVD. Then I tried to restore my Pst and make use of Outlook Import and export wizard to import in the Outlook. But I am unable in doing so and also receive this error message: File access is denied. You do not have permission required to access the file drive_letter. Please help me?

martinachrist 		Outlook fails to access your PST when PST has the read only attribute. Or you may be trying to import the Outlook PST. It is possible when you will keep your Outlook open while backing up your PST on DVD.

To solve this problem, copy your PST to a hard drive. Then right click a file and choose the properties to be sure that a read only option is not checked. Then run the inbox repair tool to repair your corrupted PST. You have to copy your Pst to the hard drive. You should also be sure that a view of the hidden files and the folders is enabled if not then the files will not be located.

If you are unable in repairing your corrupted Pst with inbox repair tool then you can also make use of the free pst repair software to repair your corrupted Pst files.
